We are honored to share that the Deck of Spaces^TM has been recognized with four international design awards: Metropolis Magazine’s Planet Positive Award, the A4LE Kelly Tanner Innovation Award, the CORE77 Product Design Award, and an award from San Francisco Design Week.

In October 2020, a study on belonging was performed by the National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP); findings demonstrated that between 17% – 29% of high school and 14% – 27% of middle-school students did not feel a sense of belonging in their schools or classrooms. We believe that this number is too high. To this end, we created the Deck of SpacesTM — a conversation starter and a brainstorming tool that allows educators and designers to introduce novel spatial concepts to audiences — young and old, to create equitable learning environments that foster community and belonging.

CORE77 2023 Product Design Awards

Recognizing excellence in all areas of design enterprise, the Core77 Design Awards annually celebrates the richness of the design profession as well as the insight and perseverance of its practitioners. Now in its eleventh year, the Awards program remains dedicated to excellence and inclusivity, offering both students and professionals the opportunity to promote their best work on a global scale across 23 distinct design disciplines.

San Francisco Design Week

The San Francisco Design Week Awards is an international design competition seeking to encourage thought leadership by supporting designers whose works contribute towards a positive future for society. The Design Awards celebrates and recognizes exemplary work in all fields of design including architecture, interiors, industrial design, communications, and user experience. Winning projects were selected by a jury comprised of distinguished professionals who reviewed submissions from an exceptionally competitive pool of applicants from all over the world.
