Originally built in 1928 and placed on the historic registry in 1985, the Knights of Pythias Building stands as a landmark of architectural heritage.

Accompanying it are three adjacent buildings, constructed in 1910 and renovated in 1980 and 2001. Though not currently listed on the historic registry, these structures retain their historic character and remain eligible for designation.

Multistudio’s approach balances preservation with progress, transforming the interiors of the three adjacent buildings into an open, collaborative, and accessible workplace while maintaining their architectural integrity. Thoughtful improvements ensure a contemporary office environment that respects the site's historic significance.

A cohesive campus identity extends beyond the interiors, with updates to the exterior hardscape, landscape, signage, and branding. Designed to foster engagement with the city, exterior spaces feature inviting “front porches” that encourage social interaction and community connection, breathing new life into this historic Phoenix site.
