Amanda Harper brings more than 20 years of experience shaping the environments, identities, and experiences that define how people understand and connect with a place. Her portfolio spans universities, municipalities, workplaces, sports and recreation facilities, civic spaces, arts and cultural institutions, and more. Working across planning, design, and construction administration, she brings architects, interior designers, and other disciplines together to integrate brand, signage, wayfinding, and the broader user experience into the built environment.
As Co-CEO of Multistudio, Amanda oversees organizational transformation and strategic vision, strategy and brand stewardship, market strategy and growth planning, and marketing and communications. Her leadership brings together the firm’s design expertise and strategic ambitions, helping shape how Multistudio evolves, communicates, and grows.
As the leader of Multistudio’s Brand Experience team, Amanda’s work extends well beyond the traditional scope of environmental graphics. She considers the full experience of a place—from programming and service styles to custom branding, print collateral, signage, and navigation. She has led comprehensive signage and wayfinding programs incorporating ADA and life-safety requirements, environmental graphics, master planning, and other elements that create cohesive, intuitive experiences.
Amanda’s design philosophy is grounded in collaboration, listening, and a deep understanding of context. She begins by understanding the needs of the people and communities a project serves, then considers how a project fits within the larger environment around it. The result is design that is both purposeful and cohesive and that reflects the character and spirit of its place.
