The celebration took place at the new University of Kansas Conference Center, adjacent to the David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium, a location that made the evening especially meaningful for our team. As designers of the conference center and proud Chamber members for 50 years, it was an honor to see the space come alive.

The evening recognized two outstanding leaders who exemplify the spirit of Lawrence. ATHENA Award winner Allison Vance Moore, a Senior Vice President at Colliers, was honored for her professional excellence and dedication to empowering women in business, while Citizen of the Year Award recipient Miles Schnaer, owner of Crown Automotive, was celebrated for his extraordinary contributions to the community. Remarks from Chamber President & CEO Bonnie Lowe, Immediate Past Chair Kate Chinn, and Board Chair Ken Hite reflected on a century of impact and the momentum ahead, with emcee Jared Martin keeping the program engaging and energetic throughout the night.

Designed to host gatherings of 25 to 2,000 guests, the University of Kansas Conference Center offers 55,000 SF of flexible event space, including a 15,000-square-foot Main Hall, several meeting rooms, and access to premium stadium spaces, creating an ideal backdrop for events that bring people together.

Founded in Lawrence in 1974, Multistudio has grown alongside the Lawrence community for more than five decades. Being part of the Chamber’s 100th Annual Meeting, held in a space our team designed, was a reminder of how design, community partnerships, and engagement will shape Lawrence’s next century.
Here’s to 100 years of connection; we can't wait to see what comes next.
