August 1, 2023

Multistudio is pleased to announce the appointment of Bridget Lowe as Chief Marketing Officer. Lowe brings to the studio 15+ years of strategic and creative marketing expertise across design, architecture, and real estate, joining the Kansas City studio full-time.

As a member of the leadership team, Bridget oversees the brand’s marketing, creative, consumer insights, and holistic communications. Lowe’s appointment as Chief Marketing Officer is an integral part of the National Managing Principal’s vision of the studio, its growth strategy, and its aim to deepen its national position while maintaining its localized approach.

“Bridget comes to Multistudio with unique expertise that seldom reaches our industry. Trained in the creative process, her accomplishments in poetry and academics build on our approach as a vibrant, multi-practice studio,” said National Managing Principal, Anthony Rohr, FAIA. “Combined with Bridget’s experience leading with strategy and clarity, her addition is an asset to our growing national position at a very exciting time.”

Lowe previously served as a Principal and Director of Marketing for the Americas at Populous, where she oversaw marketing, communications, public relations, and business development and was tasked with defining and deepening the brand’s identity and influence as a leading global design studio. Her first year in leadership was a record year for revenue at Populous, where she contributed to major project wins.

Prior to Populous, Lowe also led the development and implementation of communications, investor relations, and B2B Marketing strategies for $6.6 billion in investments at EPR Properties, the leading experiential REIT in the United States.

A MacDowell fellow, Lowe is an award-winning poet with Carnegie Mellon University Press, and her poems have appeared in numerous publications, including The New Yorker, The New Republic, Poetry, American Poetry Review, and the Best American Poetry series. Her honors include the Emily Dickinson Award from the Poetry Society of America and the Discovery Award from the esteemed 92NY, and she has read from her work and lectured at numerous academic institutions. Lowe holds a Master of Fine Arts from Syracuse University and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Literature from Beloit College in Wisconsin.

“Multistudio’s rigorous foundation of design excellence and true attention to diverse perspectives drew me to the studio,” said Lowe. “I believe deeply in their focus on social and environmental equity as inherent responsibilities of the built realm, and I am honored to join the studio at such a pivotal time in our industry.”

Lowe joins Multistudio on the heels of its rebranding from Gould Evans – a move that reinforces the studio’s commitment to building a culture that seeks diverse perspectives promotes multidisciplinary collaboration, and uses design to positively impact the communities and clients they serve.
